Recently our family moved our home and business from the Wembley area into Grande Prairie. We absolutely dreaded the idea of moving. Consequently, we contacted the moving company of R. Wald and Sons to help with the move. I was simply amazed at the service we received. Rick, Dave, Mat and Justin arrived promptly as promised. Within seven hours, we were almost completely moved into our new home. These four young men worked tirelessly and very efficiently and moved our "stuff' with amazing ease and attention to detail.

We would like to thank the staff at R. Wald and Sons for making our move a much more pleasant experience than we had anticipated.

After working with R. Wald and Sons Moving and Storage Ltd. on a move at the QEll Hospital in Grande Prairie, I can honestly say that they are the best team I have worked with yet.

As a Move Coordinator for Alberta Health Services, I have planned over 50 moves in clinics, offices and hospitals. We often have changes in the move: dates, equipment needs, and small scope changes. R. Wald was able to work with us through our changes right up to the last minute.

The team from R. Wald was professional the entire time they were on site, set on the task at hand, and focused at all times, something I found very refreshing from a move company. There was never a complaint or foul language to be heard from any of the team. They were respectful of the premises, hospital staff, patients and visitors.

There were extremely large pieces of equipment that were moved, they were awkward and heavy. The team worked incredibly hard to complete a move estimated to take three days in two days.

I highly recommend R. Wald and Sons Moving and Storage Ltd. for any move, and would be more than happy to work with them again.

During the last week of April, we moved our entire school to a new building. We had hired the moving company of “R. Wald & Sons”. We received an outstanding service. We were very impressed with Mr. Wald and his staff on how polite, obliging and hardworking they were. If we made last-minute decisions on what was to be moved, they were very accommodating in making it happen. They worked very long hours in a day and yet were still smiling, calm and had an excellent moral. They were courteous to my staff and myself during the move, it was greatly appreciated.

In July of 2006 I was part of a team of individuals charged with moving the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment from the old facility to the new one. This is not a small task as the move affected over 100 people working in the building, had to be completed in an orderly and secure manner and had to be completed while the detachment was still operating.

We contracted R. Wald and Sons as our moving company. They supplied consultation services, provided boxes and supplies, assisted in packing, moved furniture and other items and assisted with all aspects of the move. We found them prompt and efficient. The work was quite difficult and compressed in timeline, but they completed everything in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction.

I would recommend R. Wald and Sons for a similar moving project.
